The fluctuation of hotel rates
Many hotels have "dynamic pricing" which means they change their rates several times to keep in line with their competitors and the market supply/demand. We are automatically connected to the best available rate at a hotel at any given time, so if you see a rate you like we suggest booking it right away!
Hotels typically have several different add-ons to their room rate. Every jurisdiction operates differently and may charge federal and state taxes, municipality and occupancy fees, as well as resort fees. For your convenience, we display all these amounts as a total.
How we get paid?
We have a symbiotic relationship with the hotel partners. We help promote them, process all payments and cover all associated administrative fees. In return, hotels pay us a commission, and we have a small surcharge allowing our wonderful team to continue improving.
Our Service Charges
Every reservation has an associated service fee which is based on a percentage of the room rate. The purpose of this fee is to cover the costs of offering flexibility, the group discounts, the fees implemented by third party companies, and the administrative costs to keep our Support team running 24/7.
Best rates vs. Refundable rates
We want to give you the option of different prices depending on your comfortability. A refundable rate is typically cancellable as per the hotel's policy, thus allowing you to keep your options open. The best rate is usually lower; however, it is non-refundable, making it best suited for those who are 100 percent certain about their trip.
